Breast Lift
Weight gain and loss, pregnancy, age, and even genetics play a role in the appearance of your chest. At Star Plastic Surgery, our board certified breast surgeons understand how sagging breasts can negatively impact your self-confidence. Through breast lift surgery, we can help you restore that confidence, expand clothing options, and achieve the look you desire to feel comfortable and appealing. [accordion openfirst=true clicktoclose=true] [accordion-item title=”Who is a Candidate for a Breast Lift?”] A breast lift can be performed at any age, but it is recommended that you wait until your breasts have fully matured and you are done having children. Women who consider breast lifts generally share one or more of the following traits:- Downward pointing nipples
- Sagging or pendulous breasts
- Breasts that lack firmness
- Circumareolar Incision: This incision is made around the border of the nipple. Because this incision is less invasive than others, results are seen fairly quickly. This incision is best for women with a small amount of sagging.
- Lollipop Incision: This incision is made around the areolar border and down to the breast crease. Patients with a moderate degree of drooping breasts are can often benefit from this technique.
- Anchor Incision: This incision pattern is the most common, made around the areola, down to the breast fold, and along the crease of the breast. Women with significantly drooping breasts are often good candidates.
